lunch - 4oz meat, 2oz cheese, 2 bread + mayo, grapes
snack - mini muffin
dinner - same as lunch
snack - mini muffin

I did another cheeky weigh in this morning, im not losing as fast as when i calorie count, which is a little disheartening. I really need to start hitting the crossfit as well, my plan is to do this hard once i get back from geneva. Although im sure i will put on at least 4lbs while there :(

dinner - hungarian chicken, mini muffin
snack - egg, grapes, macadania

The Hungarian chicken was nice but a bit overwhelming with the number of peppers i had to eat. Considering i don't like peppers i did well to get through it all i feel.

Day 8

breakast - 3oz steak. 2 eggs, 1 bread + butter, 1 apple
lunch - 4oz deli meat, 2oz cheese, 2 bread + full fat mayo, grapes
snack - 2 mini muffins
dinner - 5oz chicken, 2 corn tortilla, 1/2 red pepper. 1/4 cup onion, 1/2 tomato, 10 almonds, few grapes

The weight loss is pretty steady at 4lbs, i used to lose around that a week when i was calorie counting. but i lost so much of my muscle base it was scary. hopefully this time round i will manage to retain a lot of my muscle. only problem being i haven't been able to get to the gym since i started the diet. this should change soon as im kitting out the garage to be crossfit friendly so i should be pretty much sorted!

I will however be doing some runs, gonna try and get down to the lake tonight to get a 3km in.

Well i put in just under 2km at the lake, im training with sian so im trying to increase her distance at the same time so its lowering mine nm.

I fell asleep at around 8 though and missed my evening snack oops!

lunch - 6oz mince beef, 1oz cheese, 2 tortilla, 1/4 cup onion, 1/4 tin tomatos, macadania

dinner - 5oz steak. mixed veg, slice of bread + butter
snack - mini muffin

Well its been a week, it has not been as difficult as i first thought which is great. tomorow morning is my first weigh in so im hoping for some nice loss.

lunch - 4oz meat, 2oz cheese, 2 slices bread + mayo, few grapes
snack - mini muffins
dinner - 2 tortilla, 6oz mince beef, 1oz cheese, 1/4cup onion, 1/2 tin of plum tomato, 4 macadania
snack - mini muffin

I made some mini muffins today but had trouble soucring the ingredients, hopefully will have better luck next time i make them

Well i finally have a lot of books on the zone diet so i plan to bake a few things tomorow to last me the following week. try and introduce some more exciting evening meals. As sandwiches all the time is no doubt going to become boring

Day 4

Today didn't go so well. After work me and sian headed for a run, however the keys accidentally got locked in the car. So we spent a big chunk of our evening sorting that out, so my meals were a bit out of sync and didn't really have time to make anything!

i did a cheeky weigh in this morning but im not going to log it quite yet as i want to go for one weigh in every 7 days!

no sense of bloating today, so could of just been a reaction to the new diet.

I ate real light today as time was a bit of an issue, i also went out to celebrate dave's birthday and sat in the restaurant watching everybody else eat while i sipped water. FUN! FUN! FUN!

Day 2

Breakfast - 3oz steak, 2 eggs, 1 slice of bread + butter, 1 Apple
lunch - 4 1/2 oz deli meat. 2oz cheese, 2 slices of bread, 3 tsp light mayo, 1/2 apple
snack - 4oz yogurt with pecans on top
tea - 5oz chicken, 1 orange, 6 oz of grapes [was all i could handle]
snack - 1 egg, .5 bread, .5 tsp peanut butter

I felt a little bloated after breakfast today, so it may be the apples that are causing the bloating. I am having apples at dinner but no tuna so will be a good test to find out whats going on.

well i don't feel as bloated after lunch, so it may have been the tuna i will have it again on thursday to try and narrow it down.

the plan was to goto the gym from work but neil is busy, so i think im just gonna have a rest day to let me leg heal [cut it open on a lamp last night]

I am finding eating all the fruit difficult, although i hoping to expand my diet quite a lot next week. Think im going to stick to sandwiches for lunch as its just so easy though

Day 1

Starting weight 209lbs

Menu

Breakfast - 3oz steak, 2x fried eggs, 1 slice of bread, 1 1/2 apple
snack - 4oz of yoghurt with pecans sprinkled
lunch - 5oz tuna, 5 tsp light mayo, 1 1/2 apple
dinner - 5oz chicken, 1 orange, 5 macadania
snack - 1 boiled egg, 1/2 slice of bread, 1/2 tsp peanut butter

15:34 - i feel incredibly bloated, could be a reaction to a total change in my diet im not sure. starting to think tuna makes me bloated but cant confirm until i eat a bit more in a few days time.

The plan is to go for a run from work gonna try and squeeze in around 3km but i feel awful [the bloating is reasonably painful]


I managed to do a small run i think i put in about 2.5-3km as i forgot my Nike+ to do the tracking! i felt incredibly bloated on the run though so gave in earlier than i should of really.

i managed to eat tea im amazed how quick all these meals are to prepare its all sub 10 mins, perfect for people living on their own really.

The plan

Well the plan is to drop weight and get strong/fit at the same time.

Dropping weight and gaining strength should pretty much be next to impossible. but hey its worth a shot!

dropping weight should prove easy i plan to use the zone diet, to try and drop as much fat and keep all that nice lean muscle. [its hiding in here somewhere im sure of it]
